Softronic Craiova signed contracts with 3 private freight operators for 6 TransMontana 480 series locomotives.
At the 14th edition of the world's largest rail fair Innotrans we announce the delivery of the following 6 new locomotives in the next period to operators in Romania and Hungary.
Thus, three new locomotives will be delivered to Constantin Grup, to which will be added the first locomotive for Transferoviar Grup.
The new locomotives will provide traction for freight trains from Hungary and Romania, including on Corridor IV Curtici - Constanta.
Another two new locomotives will be delivered to CER Cargo in Hungary, both of them also equipped with ETCS system produced by Hitachi. All locomotives will be delivered by the end of 2025.
